The Roe Green & Beesley Green Community Association (RGBGCA) was established by a group of dedicated local residents who believe in the power of community. Our purpose is rooted in a simple idea: to promote the wellbeing of all members of our unique community. We aim to be more than just a residents’ group; we strive to be a central pillar of community life, fostering a vibrant, connected, and supportive environment for all.
Our mission is guided by the principles laid out in our constitution: to bring people together, to support local initiatives, and to act as a collaborative partner for other organisations working towards similar goals. We are passionately committed to inclusivity and equality, ensuring that every resident has a voice and feels a sense of belonging. From organising community events to championing local improvements, our focus is always on working together to make Roe Green and Beesley Green an even better place to call home, both now and for future generations.
Our association serves a unique and historic part of Worsley. Roe Green and Beesley Green are cherished for their village-like character, beautiful green spaces, and rich history. From the distinctive greens to the historic cottages, our neighbourhood is a place where the past and present connect. It is this special character that our association is dedicated to preserving and enhancing.
